Nollywood filmmaker, Mykel Parish, who is currently not in the country is still grateful to God for saving his life and not allowing his family and friends mourn over him.
Parish shared his testimony that he just few hours to his departing the country, he and his riends were involved in a near robbery attack while on their way from the office.
He disclosed that their car was stuck in traffic due to tankers blocking the road and before they would know it, they heard car windscreens being smashed with guns and people took to the heels.
According to him, “Last night on my way from the office we were almost robbed because Tankers have taken over Lagos and caused traffic everywhere. The highway becomes a death trap. The robbers stood by my car, looked at I and kasinogreene, then moved forward, brought out a gun and smashed into a space van just 4 cars away. Before we could say Jack Rob… people were taking off from their cars. We didn’t waste time in jumping out and taking off like jet. Minutes later everything became normal like nothing happened except for police men who came and started harassing innocent bike men going about their business. Nigeria! I was not surprised, na them way. It could have been worse but I am here, drinking in peace and preparing to attend a program in New York and Toronto this weekend. It’s not by my power but simply because of that grace freely given. Life sha, anything can happen and man will just be no more, it’s never planned. Today, as I sit here I just want to thank God for counting me amongst the living. Thank you Jesus. Please join me to say…thank you Jesus!.”
