Patapaa, who lost out on the ‘Song of the Year’ award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, can now wear a smile.
The Swedru-based artiste’s One Corner was adjudged as the most popular song in Ghana.
He was therefore awarded a new Huawei smartphone at 2018 edition of ‘Music, Magic & Comedy Live’ concert which was held at the National Theatre in Accra over the weekend.
This comes exactly a week after he lost out to Fancy Gadam at the VGMA in the ‘Song of the Year’ category.
After the awards, he lambasted the organisers of the awards, Charterhouse, for allegedly taking a bribe from Fancy Gadam for the award.
Most people including critics of entertainment industry also suggested that ‘One Corner’ deserved to have won in that category.
