Aspiring National Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, becoming chairman will not only make the party attractive but will also bring more votes to the party.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM at the ongoing National Delegates Congress of the NDC, Mr Ofosu Ampofo urged the delegates not to miss the opportunity of voting for the right leaders to lead the party.
“Look for someone who can build a strong party. NDC should not miss this opportunity of making the right choice. I can tell them that my attraction to the party will bring more votes and so they should not miss it,” he said.
Delegates, he said, have bought into his message, expressing strong optimism that he will surely emerge as the National Chairman after the polls on November 17, 2018.
He also said he connected very well with the grass-roots membership of the party, saying “as a team player I believe it is time for me to assume the national chairmanship of the NDC to steer affairs of the party to another landmark victory in 2020.
To him, even though the NPP has a formidable party, they have failed Ghanaians woefully.
