Ashanti Gold S.C winger Douglas Armaning expressed in an interview the great impact Betway has had on his career.
Douglas emerged second runner-up in the first edition of the Betway Talent Search, which earned him an opportunity to train with Ash Gold and has since been playing with the club.
The Betway Talent Search, which is an annual project, is aimed at discovering young football talents above the age of 18 years across the country and further helping them with opportunities to play for established clubs.
Douglas was awarded a 6-month trial contract with Ash Gold which eventually earned him a place in the club, having mesmerized the technical team with his remarkable skills.
“I never envisioned playing in the premier league, but thanks to Betway, lads like me who hitherto may not have gotten the opportunity to showcase our talents on a professional level, now have the platform to do so. Through our engagement with football influencers in the country during our camping, my knowledge about the game and how to constantly improve upon my career has been significantly enhanced,” Douglas said. He expressed great gratitude to the sports gaming outfit and pleaded that Betway continues with the admirable work they are doing.
